The original Adobe building of the Budget Host Inn Tombstone started as a Livery Stable in 1879, and was later converted to a lumber yard. It was then converted into living quarters, which became a motel, in about 1930. The New buildings were constructed and completed in 2006. We are a HAUNTED MOTEL, and many sightings have been reported. Ghost tours are available from many locations in town.

The Budget Host Inn Tombstone is located just 300 ft from the heart of town, close to all attractions and events, with easy access to all areas of interest in Cochise County. Guests can enjoy jeep tours and guided horseback riding. Wedding services are also available.

We are 23 miles from historic Bisbee and its Lavender Pit, an open pit copper mine. Bisbee is also the location of the first JC Penny's store. The world famous Kartchner Caverns State Park is located in Benson, just 25 miles away. Fort Huachuca, the famous fort which sent troops to fight Cochise and his band of Indians, is only 20 miles away. You will pass through Sierra Vista on the way to the Fort.

Tombstone is located 3 hours from Phoenix and 1 hour from Tucson. To get to Tombstone, take Interstate 10 South to exit 303 and follow State Highway 80 for 23 miles into historic Tombstone, AZ. We are located on the corner of Fremont Street (Hwy 80) and Fifth Street.
