There something for everyone in the family to do during every season. During the summer your can go boating, swimming, diving or fishing on many of our lakes. Plan a day for a bike ride or hike in our surrounding areas. Trails will lead you through majestic forests of northern white cedar, aspen, pine and northern hardwoods, while others wind their way along the awesome Lake Michigan shoreline. After Labor Day, St. Ignace blossoms into shades of magnificent color, and the trees begin to glow as the temperatures sneak downward. The Upper Peninsula features miles of trails and tree-lined roadways where viewers can marvel at the wonders of nature and enjoy a leisurely walk or drive in the woods. When the snow flies hundreds of miles of America's best snowmobile trails begin right at our door.
